Anyone else stuck on the 10 Kraken quest for Reaper? This part is killing me
I’m on Quest 3 of the Reaper soul trial, and the 10 Kraken kills are dragging way harder than the rest of the quest line. The first three parts honestly weren’t bad — Quake auto-farm on starter island knocked out the 1,500 enemy kills, and the three souls came eventually with a luck build. But this Kraken grind is something else.
Every time I sail out past Punch Island into the open sea, I’m either sitting around forever waiting for a spawn, or some random with way more damage than me one-shots it before I can get my 10% in. I’ve gotten like 3 kills in the last couple of hours, and I’m losing my mind.
A few things I’m trying to figure out:
- Does bounty actually affect Kraken spawn rate, or is it mostly Sea Beasts? I’ve seen people say it matters, but I can’t tell if it’s making a real difference for me.
- Is there a better spawn spot than going straight out from Punch Island dock? I keep hearing people mention different routes.
- For anyone who did this solo with mid damage — how long did it actually take you?
- Is it worth just spamming bounty to attract more spawns, or does that just make it worse since stronger players join in?
I don’t really have friends online who play to group up with, so I’m stuck doing this solo. If anyone wants to run a Kraken hunt session, drop your username. Otherwise, just tell me it gets better lol.
